EMERGE ( is a digital product agency looking for an interactive producer to join our team. Our creative headquarters are located in the heart of Portland, OR.

The Interactive Producer is responsible for ongoing project, team and client management. Individuals in this role have considerable client exposure and must demonstrate the ability to work on both business and technology projects with companies across a broad range of industries, such as high-tech, consumer goods and healthcare.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage up to five concurrent client projects, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 organizations.

  • Serve as the main client interface on projects, helping define vision, clarifying strategic requirements, explaining complex ideas clearly, and managing expectations.

  • Define the scope of projects (goals, deliverables, schedule, and budget).

  • Lead and inspire teams by communicating a vision for the project as well as involving people at the optimal levels for project success and overall account utilization.

  • Keep projects on track through clear task lists, issue tracking, status reports, and meeting notes.

  • Drive website and business strategy, such as audience analysis, competitive analysis, developing a website’s messaging strategy and performing a content needs analysis, creating user personas.

  • Lead efficient meetings and conference calls with the ability to effectively setup the presentation of creative work.

  • Clearly communicate project issues and resolution to the client and internal team.

Job requirements:

  • 3-5 years of interactive project management experience

  • Experience managing marketing, creative or technology projects

  • Excellent communication, organization, interpersonal and writing skills

  • Experience developing schedules, budgets and project plans

  • Experience managing budgets over $100,000

  • Account management experience will go far, but is not required

  • Practice with various project management tools including but not limited to Confluence, SmartSheet, Jira and Google Apps.

  • Skilled at writing detailed project requirements documentation

  • Understanding of quality control and quality assurance

  • Strong problem solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing environment
